Mortgage Advisers ::: Major Brokers

Full CeMAP required.

Office based role with customer visits as required with purpose and key responsibilities as below:-

  • Recruitment and retention of new and existing Mortgage Customers.
  • To develop and maintain a high profile for home products.
  • Interview customers to establish home finance requirements, i.e. mortgage, life assurance, buildings, contents and creditor insurance.
  • Provide customers with information on the different types of mortgage products on offer. Assist customers with completion of mortgage application form. Assess and discuss budget planner, explain the mortgage process and book funds on offer, with the various range of Mortgage Providers.
  • Promote associated cross sales, i.e. Buildings Contents, Mortgage Protection and Term assurance. Assist customers with completion of application forms.
  • Advise customers of sanctioning decision. For declined applications discuss alternatives and instigate appeals process if necessary.
  • Provide coaching support to colleagues in lead identification and generation.
  • Following customer interview check application to ensure lending criteria have been met i.e. eligibility, loan to value, multipliers.
  • Deal with any mortgage related customer queries or complaints received at the branch.
  • Achieve Regulatory and operational risk and rigour excellence in all aspects of procedures/processes undertaken.
